About our cause
Welcome to Woodcote Primary School lottery. This lottery has been set up by your PTFA specifically to raise money and make a difference for our children!
It's a fantastic way to bring Parents, Carers, Teachers and the wider community together, in partnership with our school, and at the same time give something back. We hope to raise funds that can support and enrich the education of our children - we aim to provide extra resources for the children, improve the school environment as well as run extracurricular activities such as music, art and sport.
As the first initiative of this exciting new scheme, the money raised by you will be split across each year group to provide them with an allocated budget. A target of £300 will be allocated to every year from Reception to Year 6; with Woodies assigned a pro-rata’d figure of £100. Teachers and pupils will be encouraged to propose ideas to the PTFA of how their year’s allocation is to be used. And once the overall target has been achieved the PTFA will announce what each budget is to be used for. Simply put, the money raised should directly benefit our children (with ideas of what that benefit should be coming from the classroom itself).
Your support is greatly appreciated and we wish you good luck!
