Nottinghamshire Schools raising £1,000s with Your School Lottery
06 May 2026
Nottinghamshire schools are raising thousands with Your School Lottery
And parents are winning too, with over £200,000 in prizes across the county - including THREE £25,000 Jackpot winners!
Schools across Nottinghamshire are discovering a simple, effective way to raise funds all year round – without adding pressure to already busy staff and volunteers.
Your School Lottery is helping schools and PTAs generate regular, reliable income through a weekly draw that’s easy to set up and straightforward to run. With tickets costing just £1 per week, it gives families a fun and accessible way to support their school while being in with a chance to win a guaranteed cash prize and the £25,000 jackpot.
And it’s already making a real difference locally.
Walter Halls School only launched their lottery recently and is already on track to raise over £1,000 this year with very little effort. Mapperley Plains School has raised over £5,000 to date, helping support pupils and enhance what the school can offer.
Friends of Holly Hill PTA has raised more than £14,000 through their lottery, funding trips, experiences, and memorable events for pupils throughout the year. At Crossdale Drive Primary School in Keyworth, their lottery has raised over £6,000, with strong support from parents and the wider school community.
These examples show how a simple idea can deliver meaningful results.
Getting started is straightforward. Schools can set up their own lottery in just a few simple steps, with support, marketing materials, and a weekly draw provided. Once up and running, it fits easily alongside existing fundraising, running consistently in the background – even during school holidays.
For parents, it’s just as appealing. For as little as £1 per week, they can support the school in a way that feels easy and enjoyable, while also having the chance to win cash prizes. It’s a small contribution that can add up to a big impact over time.
At a time when schools are being asked to do more with limited resources, having a fundraising option that is both sustainable and low effort can make a real difference. That’s why more Nottinghamshire schools are choosing to run their own lottery – and seeing the benefits for their pupils and wider community.
If you’re looking for a simple way to raise funds for your school or PTA, Your School Lottery could be the answer.
